movable insulated coop - help with selection

The flip side of that is a completely different approach. You can use relatively rigid high-density materials that tend to deaden sound propagating through it, like the cement board I used for my hen house. In theory it works great. In practice, it is almost entirely counteracted by all the holes in it for ventilation. Also not well suited for your application because it is so damn heavy. Not something you want to pick up and move ever.

I do not know of any Middle Ground material, or alternate construction method such as the baffles they use in a muffler which is not either ridiculously expensive, ridiculously space consuming, or both. Even a car muffler is tune to the frequencies they anticipate to come out of the engine. Chickens as we all know have a much wider vocal range.

No, but as mentioned in the OP I do not need temperature, but sound-insulation. But I guess thats two birds with one stone, even if I only wanted the one bird ;)
Ah, sorry, forgot that part, but still......insulation....
.... is almost entirely counteracted by all the holes in it for ventilation.
