So i have a hen that is broody for 2 weeks now. And i also have some chicks that hatched yesterday in an incubator. I plan on giving them to the hen to raise so that she breaks out of her broodiness. However the hen is at another property and chicks at my home.

Should i move the hen to my home observe for a couple days and then give chicks ?

Or should i put chicks under hen where she is now, wait for a couple days then move together back to my home?

Problem is that where the hen is now, it is a raised coop with other chickens, she is in a nesting box which may pose a danger to the chicks (risk of falling out, uneven surface etc)

Move chicks to the hen. Moving her from her nest might break her of broodiness. Once she's accepted the chicks you should be able to move the whole family together.

Put them in at night and get them a little cold first so they want to snuggle in to her warmth. Wait until late morning or mid day the next day to move them to the ground for some food. Maybe afternoon if the chicks are true day olds and can go a full day without food and water. Once she's talking to them and keeping them with her, you can probably move the whole family anywhere you want.

The chicks hatched yesterday so today they are 24-36 hours old. I have taken them out of the incubator and put them under a heating plat with a bit of food and water.

Will take them to hen tomorrow morning which will be 48 hours after hatch. They should able to survive around 12 hours with hen from morning to afternoon right ?

My plan is then to move the whole group late afternoon, so around 60 hours post hatch.

Yeah. They wouldn't eat or drink anything at night anyway. They'll be fine in the nest for a few extra hours while she gets bonded to them.
