Even though I have done this 4 times, I'm still a bit nudgy the first night. They are 5.5 weeks (I know old and feathered enough) but their brooder room has been 63-67 for the past 10 days. A couple of nights at 61. I had no room in the garage and with Passion Week, we were at Church most evenings for 5+ hours...so I waited.
Anyway, it is supposed to be 50/51 by 5 am and I will be checking at dawn. I just checked on them and now with total darkness, they are quiet.

There is a box in the back with shavings, surrounded by straw.
