Moved babies

I moved my 7 week old babies and a couple of ducklings out to the coop & run today. My question is how do I work out the food situation. I have 3 others that are at least 3 years old. Could I mix the feed so its 50/50?

You could and slowly decrease so they get used to the food

It’s better for the older birds to eat the younger bird food than the other way around. Just make sure to give them extra calcium in the form of crushed oyster shells if you aren’t already! Over time, slowly add a bit of layer feed to the feeder until eventually they are old enough for it to be all layer feed!

How about food and water in coop. Do they really need it at bed time? Ducks do make a big mess!
