So I've moved my ducks away from the chickens and turkeys. They are Coming on 3 weeks old this week and moved them into their own coop. But they seem to refuse to go under or near the heat lamp. Should I be worried or let them be?

My ducklings will be 3 weeks old Monday. Some nights they sleep under the warning plate. Some times next to it. And tonight they are sleeping at the opposite end .
I believe they are smart enough to know when to be close or under the heat source.
I also have a thermometer so I can see how warn it is. It was 75 degrees when I locked down for the night.
Its going to get down to 50 degrees to night. So I'm sure when I check on them tomorrow in the morning they will be next to or under their heat source.
Enjoy the new baby's.
I think ducklings are the cutest thing next to black lab puppies .

Ducklings know best what's good for them. If they won't go under the heat lamp, they just not feel cold - assumed that you have not placed a scary looking monster under that lamp… ;) Just keep an eye on them and watch out for lethargic or shivering ducklings.
