Moved my Chickens

Hello everyone

I seperated from my husband and therefore had to move all my chickens to my new place. They handled the move nicely and have already started laying eggs again and I just moved them 2 days ago.

I was curious how long I shoud let them get adjusted to their new coop before letting them out to free range? They all seem to be pretty happy, just don't want anyone wandering off... lol...

About a week in their new digs should be long enough for them to realize it's home. Sorry about your change in living situation. I hope it works out for you.

Ok thank you...

I didn't want to let them out too soon, even if they seem perfectly happy and are already laying eggs... I can't wait to let them out though.. they have a HUGEEEEEE area to free range now... Lots of bugs and grass, and even the occasional lizard... lol...
