Moved them out to the pens. Found on dead this morning

AT 4 weeks, my poults still snuggle in under their mom for heat. I wouldn't put them out without heat till they are 8 weeks old. I guess it also depends on your temperatures. If it's 90 degrees outside, it wouldn't matter, but perhaps the rain cooled it down and plus is was damp air.
Also, were birds kept previously in their pen? I wonder if they picked something up.

I cleaned the pen out before putting them in. At 4 weeks quail are fully feathered. My others went out at 3 weeks old without a problem. I think I babied these too much.
