Velociraptors
Songster
Been a long while since I posted about the raptor pack, but considering how this thread took off, it’s time to update ya’ll!
All of the original chicks have grown up, but I ended up selling the rooster I raised, due to him suddenly becoming aggressive seemingly overnight. So, in his place, his son has taken over. He’s much sweeter, and prettier than his father was! His sisters have joined the flock too. He isn’t fully grown yet, but I’m in awe of his coloration.
I’m not sure if I’ll be incubating any eggs this year/early next year, since the raptor pack is currently sitting at 10 birds total. There was 11, but one of the young girls passed away due to a bad prolapse that wasn’t fixable.
At any rate, I’m extremely happy with my birds. I love them all dearly and I’m so glad I got into this breed
