So about twenty days ago I decided to test the fertility on our young roo, so I put two eggs in the bator to see what would happen. I took them off the turner day before yesterday, and while my wife and myself were talking about the eggs, they both started shaking and rattling back and forth. Tomorrow will be day 21, can't wait. Hen is a Rhode Island REd/Sexlink cross, and the roo is a Sexlink roo that is marked like the hen, which is how he slipped past the market guy in October. Hackles and comb says roo, and it looks like hes fertile. Will post pics when/if they hatch, still keeping fingers crossed, this is the first time for us hatching eggs.
