I've got four girls - 18 weeks old. Right now we live in coastal Northern California. In two years I will likely be moving to Sacramento which is in the Central Valley. Currently our summertime highs are around 75 degrees. Sac sees highs more like 100 plus all summer long. Is it realistic to plan to take my girls with me? Or should I plan to rehome them and start over?

You can take them with you! Collect 4 cardboard boxes and put one girlie in each along with some bedding. Then, tape the boxes shut, poke several air holes, and place them in the backseat of your car. Make sure the girls can turn around and stand up straight (with head up) in the closed box.

But what about the climate difference? Will they be able to adjust?

Might be best to move during a milder part of the year if possible, would be an easier adjustment for them...and you too.
