moving a sitting hen

I have a hen who just started sitting eggs....I would like to move her and the eggs before they hatch. Any suggestions? Will she continue to sit if I do this?

Maybe. I got away with it once. What worked is doing it at dusk or night, and moving the whole nest (or at least the hay.) If you're moving her into some sort of broody pen where there isn't much but nest, food and water, and a small standing area, it's probably more likely to work.

thanks...that is what I want to do..she started sitting 2 days ago...should I wait until about a week out from hatching?
