I candled (Day 17). on one of them the air pocket has moved from the rounded end to the side of the egg. They are in a Still Air LG. and a turner with the pointy end down. What happened to the pocket? do you think this one will be ok?

I had this happen to almost all my eggs once. (duckling eggs) 7 hatched out fine and dandy (I thought, actually 2 died of heart defects 2 months later, but I don't think that had anything to do with the air sac.) 1 was horrible deformed, and that was from the air sac. His bill was far too small, his neck was too skinny and his head was HUGE. He looked horrible. I had to have my dad cull him before he even hatched all the way. It's a toss up I guess. Sometimes they are fine and sometimes they aren't. Keep me posted!

well, the air sac was fine on day 14, but by 17 it was up and down the long side of the egg. So hopefully it will not affect the chicks development. Someone on a chicken page on FB said that I should just lay it with the pocket up, cuz thats the way they pip, and it should be ok. Sorry about your losses, though. I hate to lose them. I had lost some chicks before they were a week old to cocci, and it devastated me. I love all my animals just as i love my children.

And this batch of chicks has started to hatch tonight. so we will see. thank you for your reply.
