Moving chicks from under broody

I’ve got two broodies and they both have a chick or two with some more eggs underneath. The hatched chicks are between 1-2 days old. Should I move them from under momma and out of the nest so they can find the crumble and water or is momma going to make sure they’re ok while she sits in the other eggs?? The chicks can not escape the box and nobody else can get it. Please help. I’m already had one not make it. I don’t want to lose anymore.

Is the nest on an elevated surface? Is there a way you can relocate her with the nest to the ground? If so, I’d do that so the chick can come and go to and from her and introduce it to water and food. The chicks can live off of the yolk for 48-72 hours, but things will start to get bad quick if she doesn’t introduce them to food and water sources past that point.

This is the box they’re in. They can’t get out. I have put food and water in with them. I’m worried about moving them to the ground because I have 17 other hens and a rooster running around and my coop and run is very large for them to start away from momma. I didn’t see any yolk on them when they came out and this is my first hatch so it’s still new to me. I just want to make sure they eat and drink and don’t starve while she hatches the rest of them. I figured the box was big enough for them to frolick but small enough that momma wouldn’t freak out and abandon the other eggs.
