I have a safe space for chicks and they are now three weeks old. It’s a modified brooder so has a section that’s protected from weather and outdoor critters. I want to put them outside - temps are down to about 55F at night now - so I can leave a warming lamp out there as well. Is there any reason not to do this? I’m in Hawaii but higher elevation. They’d be in a grassy chicken run that has its own fencing as well, but kept inside their modified brooder for now.
