Moving Chicks outside

My chicks turned 6 weeks old on Wed and I am not sure when it is ok to put them outside in their coop. I live on Long Island.
Temps are between 50 & 70 during the day and 40 to 55 at night. What do I do?

They say if they are feathered then you're good to go! Personally I'd wait until 8 weeks- that's always been my magic number.
