Moving chicks

My chicks are six weeks old.Can I put them in with my laying chickens?

I wait until 6 weeks, yes, but only if the weather/temperature permits, and only if I have a safe place for them to eat, drink, sleep, and hide. I like to create a temporary "coop in the coop" for them, so when something may go bad - The cockerels and pullets can escape to safety. To my surprise though, they haven't had any chasing problems yet.

So if you have a complete set up for anything that may happen, yes, 6 weeks is fine to my experience.
