My dad and I have been building this coop for several weeks, and it’s finally ready for the little ladies. Once it’s all set up, I will post more pics.

They hate change but they'll dig all the space and get used to it.

Couple things....roosts look odd and you might need perches in front of nests.
Did we miss these on the build thread?

What's odd about the roosts? They are 4' long each, made with lumber lying broad-side so that they don't have to curl their toes. They are at about 2-1/2 feet and 3' height, offset a certain amount so that they don't poop on each other. There is a "window seat" shelf kind of thing running all along the wall above the nest boxes, under those two windows, because I know that at least our rooster liked to look out windows (though I don't know if the ladies will want to be up there or not).

I was wondering if they'd need a little boost-up ledge to get into next boxes. The opening is 20" above the floor. DO you think they need help hopping up into those?
