The babies moved outside yesterday and they're doing wonderful so far. I got the coop all closed up and as predator proof as possible, then divided it to aboout 1/3 of the total size. When I went to check they were cuddled under their heat lamp last night (but not too tightly) and when I got up this morning they were happily poking around at the other end of the coop. Looks like they've been up on their new roost too

Here are some new pics:
Inside of the coop.... The back wall will be taken out when they get bigger so they have the run of the whole thing. It's about 18' long in total and will also have a door to the run at the back once it's opened up and totally finished.

Exterior of the coop, sans paint... That will have to wait until the weather warms up a bit! I'd like to replace the older walls that are weathered so that it looks nicer but I figure I can go back and do that over time. The biggest thing was to get it secure and draft proof so the babies could get out of that brooder!
