My chicks are a couple days short of 8 weeks old, and yesterday they moved out to their backyard coop. One by one, all eleven were carried out to their new home. Today I opened the enclosed run, so now they're checking out the outdoors for the first time. Magic. I want to thank all the people on this forum for all the help and the tons of information given. All eleven chicks I brought home from Cackle Hatchery are healthy and growing, eating, drinking, and have great interest on whats going on around them. So far, so good. I can't hardly wait for eggs!

Oh congrats on getting them outside... I tried to move my dark cornish to their new coop (it's almost done) and enclosed run yesterday.... but Michigan wethare desided to call for snow showers this week! Those poor little peeps were driving me crazy I thought they had to be too cold.... so all 28 of them came back into the house! Have fun with your flock!
