Ok - new layers (born first week of March). They have a nice row of nest boxes with a dividing wall in front of them (to make it darker and more private) for them.
They go behind the wall and lay - but not into the boxes (I can collect eggs from the outside if they are in the boxes, but not where they are laying).
So I bought fake eggs and put them in the boxes - the hens move the fake eggs OUT of the boxes to where they have been laying!!
Any ideas?
