They'll probably do the trip better than you will. It's only a half-day (12 hr) or so drive, say 15 hrs with stops. I'd offer water and maybe a snack when you stop, some raisins or other portable thing that won't be messy. Once you get moving and they get used to the motion, they should be alright.
