The little darlings (12) have outlived their welcome in our bathroom and am hoping to move them (they are in a large dog crate) into the garage today. I have the heat lamp, etc, which I've raised a little each day over the last week to try and acclimate them to what will be cooler temps. Should I be worried, or just go for it? AND...how long before it's okay to move them out into their large coop?
(We live in the Clearview area of Snohomish, WA - to help get an idea of temps)

I would make sure they have a place in the kennel to get out of drafts, I use human heat pads on low or medium covered with an old piece of polar fleece, I buy the ones that don't have an auto shut off

You my wind up having to lower your heat lamp again, I imagine. Assuming that the garage itsself is relatively draft free. And keeping them raised up off the ground would help, too.
