Moving new chicks into old flock

I have five 4 wk old new chicks. I'm new at owning/raising chickens. I inherited five old hens that are already in the coop. When and how can I introduce the new chicks with the old flock?

Setting up a separate living area where the 2 flocks can see each other but not get at each other for about a month is kind of a standard approach. Here is a discussion about integration:
