Hi!
I have 6 chicks and they are varying inane by plus or minus a week at most... I have one that I suspect is a little over 4 weeks and one that might be a little under 3.
My question is... with the age difference, how do I handle the move to the coop? Is it best to keep older chicks in the brooder rather than younger chicks outside? I don’t really want to separate them but I will if that’s the best way to do it.
thank you!!!

I moved all of mine at once, and they usually cuddle up together when they sleep so I doubt the little one would get cold. Unless its cold where you are of course

I’m in Colorado and our weather is sooo unpredictable right now. This weekend’s forecast is a high of 73 with snow???? Nights are around 46 which is what I’m worried about.

Ok then I'm not the one to give you advice. I'm in florida lol

Thank you!! I’ve also thought about moving them out and putting a heat lamp out there if the little one needs it
That could also work. If using a heat lamp, make sure it is VERY well secured, using not just the clamp but the hanging loop and even the cord to ensure it can't get knocked down by a bird flapping around.
