I just put my house up for sale. Time to down size. I will be moving my chickens and there coop/pen. Any advice in how to make this less stressful for both me and chickens.

Have you already purchased the new home?
If so, I would relocate them now, that way you can focus on selling the home.
I am assuming you are moving just to a smaller home in the same area, am I correct?

Its a stressful situation , I moved into new home in Feb with my chickens it was tough for them to accepting new home .
When I shifted I take them into a cardboard box with many holes (30 mins drive from old to new home) before putting them into box I feed them & let them drink maximum for 30 mins
Both of my rooster seems stressed during the drive they sit down in the box making strange noises . .

After coming in I open them in a room let them roam & see the entire place . always make sure you have some Poultry Vitamins in your box ready to lower down stress you can give some jaggry in water for boosting energy

my rooster didn't accept my new home for 10 days . their poos were changed and stressed .

Always give them lots of love & time to accept the environment

That's a tall order....selling/buying/moving houses is stressfull.
Any idea of when and how far the move will be?
Moving the birds is probably best done late at night or very early in the morning,
lower temps(if the move is imminent) and much easier to catch chickens.
Whenever I have to catch a bird I do it off the roost at night if at all possible.

Same town just a smaller house. I’m still looking for a new home at this time.

That close will simplify things.
You may need something temporary to hold birds while you move coop and run.
Or move coop first during day while birds are in run, then move birds, then move run.

Have you thought about what you will do if your place sells, and you have to leave, before you find new place?
