Moving the coop?

Greetings! We built an a-frame chicken ark but have let our chickens free range. I'd like to move the coop closer to the house for the winter...will moving it confuse them? Should I move it with them in it?

I love this forum and am thankful for everyone's words of wisdom!

I moved my coop 100 feet closer to the house for the winter. My hens were free-ranging during the coop move and they didn't seem to bother them. That night they all went to the coop and roosted like nothing happened.
