..and of course the chaykins are coming! Phoenix area, so it is a scorcher a fews months out of the year.
I was wondering how hens will take it, I'm currently in SoCal and we had a few 100+ weeks last summer and some of the hens were panting quite a bit. Electrolytes, plenty of shades but even at night the bigger girls, Brahma, Australops were still overheating.
I'm sure we have quite a few BYCers from AZ, any recommendation on keepin' em cool will be appreciated!

mister worked pretty good, but kitty pool, nobody seems game to get wet much lol... could've been my setup. Good news it'll be a coop complex design from scratch so I'll keep that in mind. Maybe a concrete setup with a lil' pond would be more accessible.
