Hi everyone!

I have 8 chicks. One is around 5 weeks, 5 are about 3.5 weeks and 2 are about 1 week. I'm in Texas so we are averaging around 80 during the day and low of 65 at night. Would they be okay if I keep them in their new outside coop with a heat lamp at night starting Sunday? It's secure, has 4 weatherproof walls so no drafts and is preditor proof. They are currently in our house and are running out of room and becoming messy!

Thanks in advance!

Yes they are ok, as long as you have the heat lamp. Put it in one spot. The chicks will move to it as needed.Just got though moving mine to the co-op. Heat lamp and all. They were in the house. And 2weeks was enough. I've raised many this is ok.
