Moving to great lakes, IL area!

Hey everyone. I am new here. I've been trying to find out if chickens are allowed in the towns we are interested I'm buying a home in. I haven't been able to find much out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We are looking to buy in the Gurnee, Lindenhurst, Round lake, Antioch area!

Most of these towns are in Lake County and if you live in a town or subdivision you may or may not be able to keep chickens. Here's an article on which towns allow chickens. http://www.littlelakecounty.com/backyard-chickens-lake-county/ Looks like you need a permit for your coop.
The laws are different for unincorporated Lake County and there is information in the same article.

I did read the municipal code for Grayslake and from what I read they allow 6 chickens and there's other little rules.
