Moving to ireland

Nice to hear from you again! Glad to hear things sre moving slong. Does the house have a big, roomy kitchen? I picture Cook baking scones and dumplings for a hearty dinner while a storm rages outside, lol!

The house we are staying in has a nice kitchen, but the house we are buying the kitchen is teeny tiny not much bigger than the caravan kitchen.
We are planning on expanding the kitchen and making it more open plan.

Any idea when you are moving to the new house. Does it have yo be ready? Or just move in and renovate after moving in?

So we just got told, we are signing next week!!!!
So what our lawyer said is completion is 2 weeks after the seller signs the papers. So we could own 84 acres the start of November!!!!
We are planning on getting some of the work done on the house before we move in, as it will be winter and the storms in Ireland are no joke, the area where the house is, last winter they had a massive storm and didn’t have power for over 2 week!
And if nether of the fire places are useable we are screwed if the power goes out.

I’m doing okay, I am missing my friends a lot, we haven’t found an home ed teens yet so I haven’t really made many (if any) connections.
The animals are loving house life!
The dogs don’t have to move every five seconds, and the cats can run around the house, theirs also a mouse which has been keeping the cats entertained (it seems to be gone now yay cats)

The ducks are happy too, they are all together in one big pen, and are loving life. Now this may be contradictory to what others might do, I know that I have 2 girls and a lot of boys and it is risky for them but breeding season is over, and they are so much happier together I have been having problems with them not eating enough but now they are together everyone is eating really well and their demeanour is so much better.
For me the pros weigh out the cons and I have been watching like a hawk and no one is even “doing it” (if you know what I mean).
