Hey y’all! I’m about to move to a completely different part of town ( neighborhood) and I am wondering if y’all have any ideas on how I can determine what kind of predators I’ll have to deal with besides sitting in the backyard all night quietly 🤣 just to watch and see. My instinct is to prepare for everything and just not worry so much. Ya think that’s the best idea anyway?

Game cameras. I'm rural on a dead end road. We used to be the only house but over the years neighbords have sold off portions of their land and people have been buying and building new homes. I have several cameras up on my property and was surprised at the predators that roam here especially at night. One of our neighbors recently sold 5 acres and of course before long a new house was being built. I know it's inevitable. I haven't seen as many predators but still see them from time to time. Lately it's been a skinny fox at night. I do have electric wires around my coops and pens, concrete under the gates and good heavy duty netting covering my pens, all due to losses from predators in the past. Good luck with your move and have fun...

If you’re moving but staying within the same town you’ll probably see the same predators
