Moving to Ohio and NEED ducks. ;)

Hello all! So, I'm totally green when it comes to raising anything other than a kitten or a few veggies and herbs, but our family is re-locating to Ohio (the Dayton area to be specific), and according to me it's time to acquire some ducks. From my own research, and thanks to this site, I have been able to find out that Dayton does allow yard birds within the city limits. I can't find anything out for sure about all the other surrounding areas though. We're looking at buying our first house and want to make sure that we can have ducks before we buy. Anyone familiar with any of the other areas around Dayton that do or do not allow ducks? Is anyone here raising ducks or chickens in the city limits that could give me any advice?
