Moving To Property With No Dam :(

Hi guys, moving house in the next couple of weeks onto 2 acres, there is no dam so we are going to dig out a small pond, do you have any tips on keeping a small pond clean, eg pumps filters or anything like that, really worried about my ducks being in dirty water, as they are on a lake the size of 150 football fields ATM

Well I don't really know the answer to that, but I have 2 coi ponds and I have filters for them. I would just go to the hardware store and tell the size of the pond and they can steer you in the right direction for a filter and pump for that size pond...that's what I did..and check around also just to make sure one person isn't trying to sell you some thing you don't really need.
