Hi all! Long time no post, we just purchased a home in the high desert (yucca valley) we will be moving our flock of 6 over.

There are lots of predators so I am a tad concerned on building the coop. I’m also wanting to get some chickens and I’m assuming I should build them their own little area. Any advice?

Make sure to bury wire mesh on the sides of the coop. I even recommend pouring concrete under the coop, or making it raised from the ground. Snakes love eggs.
