Moving your flock

I have nearly 80 chickens and 7 ducks. We are moving to a larger property. The sale closes on 8.15 but we have to be out of our current residence by 7.15. I do not want to lose my flock. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to keep my birds that I might not thought of? I’m worried about moving them to a temporary location then moving them again to our permanent residence. Has anyone had to do this before?

my drakes are staying at a farm until we move. they have adjusted very well. just make sure whoever is watching them gives them lots of attention to help them adjust easier

I would not worry about moving them twice. I would worry about finding a temporary place that will accommodate 80 head. That is a large flock.

Is someone moving into your current property if so ask if they can stay or if someone is in your future property ask if you can bring them you just might make a new chicken parent out of someone

Oooo, rough situation!
Curious about the facilities at the new place....or are you moving your coops/runs too.
Any chance at all that they can stay at the old place for a month?
Is the new place vacant or are the owners still living there...moving them sooner would be great but doing anything before closing can be risky.
Where are you going to be living for that month?
