So we live in the city and have a small grassy lawn with the coop of chicks on the edge against the house, needing to mow what shall I do with chicks, think they will handle the noise in the coop alright?

They'll probably freak out and run away from the mower, just as they should any potential danger. But, they'll be fine. I have a tractor with a broody and chicks we mow right next to. Broody momma acts like she's gonna kill the mower

, but the chicks don't even go under her anymore while we mow.

Ha! Good momma, well if yours can handle the tractor mine should be ok with a lil walking mower. :) Thanks.

My new chickens always freak out the first several times they meet the mower but they soon start following it around with the rest of the chickens and getting in the way.
