Moxidectin help please!!!

Hi all

Moxidectin is not widely used here in the UK yet but I have read good reports on its useful in the USA and Australia. I have some some (Cydectin solution for sheep, 1% w/v) and realise it is not licensed for poultry, but I am looking for the dilution rate for putting in drinking water please. Can anyone help me?

Any other comments about it would be useful too.

I have no idea, never heard of it until I just googled it. I'd suggest calling or emailing the manufacturer or a veterinarian.

Perhaps its only widely used for poultry in Australia then. I have emailed a vet there but have received no reply. I cannot ask my own vet as its not licensed for poultry - we have it as a sheep treatment.

Does this forum have many Australian members I wonder?
