Mr Attitude

I'm glad I got ducks this year. We love ours too! They are sassy things and full of personalty. My mistake was getting some pilgrim geese though.

They are not as docile as I expected and I have 3 males to 1 female. 2 of the males are taking a trip to the pond here soon and I hope they stay there!

I looove his attitude. Ducks can be such little prima donnas, but I find them too adorable.

I love my geese too. Sorry yours are little monsters Henry's Chickens. Hopefully when you remove the extra ganders, the one left won't feel the need to "defend" his girl all the time and settle down. Or not.

Geese can be funny that way.

Terrie, not to sound ironic, but if he were a BYC member, you would have banned him by now (or at least rapped his little webbed feet once or twice).

[hmmmm, searching banned members on the UserList to see if the name Hugo is there...]

Thanks, everyone! Hugo says that the compliments are no more than his due. He is a very self confident drake.

Your making me miss mine. We had Cinnamon for 9 years and 2 years ago our neighbor's new bird dog got him. He followed me up into the house and chased wild ducks away. He liked watching people. We were having a brick mailbox out by the road made. He flew out there and landed on the guys mudboard (where he was mixing the cement) and sat there for a couple hours just watching him, and when he left Cinamon flew back to the coop. He liked beating up our dog and when that bird dog came around I don't think he ran, he prob stood his ground.

he's tude-a-rific. and handsome! i think he needs a Segway for cruising around town! he's total coolness, look at his face, he KNOWS it.

my khakis all nip my legs when i come into the hoop house. it tickles. well, until i have to pick someone up and they stick their head up my sleeve and bite my armpit! oofta!

Miss-Jayne, not to get technical, but you spelled Offda wrong. And now back to why your ducks are dying of BO poisoning. And I'm not talking Buff Orpington poisoning, if you get my drift.
