He looks like one of my boys. Mine is a cukoo maran mixed with gold laced wyandotte. I hope he makes your gals happy.

On better research, I'm thinking he is actually a Dominique mix. The transition went great btw! The girls adore him.

He crows quite softly and shockingly, not in the evening or at night. When I enter the run, he goes to the opposite side and if i start puttering around too much, he enters the coop and stays out of sight.

I love my rooster.
