Mr. Roo + 1 hen attacked by dog today

Two other hens are missing feathers and fairly slobbery, but they don't have obvious wounds.

Mr. Roo has a good-sized wound on his back. I tried to spray Blu-Kote on it...he didn't let me get too close. The other hens are pecking his owie. WHat to do?

I'd separate him and get some antiseptic spray on his wounds after you clean them with warm water? I doubt that you can put a bandaid on a chicken. Do they make those funnel collars for chickens?

Watch him the next week and make sure that he's not chewing on it, and that it's not getting swollen or stinky [could mean it's infected]

I'm still new to the whole chicken game, but that's how I'd treat my dog if it had a wound.

I hope he heals up!
