We've been really lucky. Only trace amounts, like the dust stirred up from a dirt road. And only twice since this started March 20th. REALLY lucky...

Well, the ash in Homer ugly! I have about 1/4 inch in some areas, and it has not rained or snowed, so it just keeps blowing around. The good news is I got a new shipment of baby chickens on friday between the two eruptions. They are soo cute, I just love chicks! Question: does anyone have any thoughts on letting the hens out of their coops, while there is a little ash on the ground? I certainly can not keep them cooped up all the time, it has been really nice down in Homer.
