Hi and a warm welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=learning+centre and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads. Don't be afraid to ask any questions that you may have - we are here to help each other.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread  as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

All the best

Welcome.I've been at it only two years and still have tons of questions. Right now I have what I think is a rooster, breed unknown. I call it "Oops", bc I sexed the thing before buying, as I didn't want another rooster. I think I've definitely not yet learned how to sex chickens:-)So I first thought it was a she, then a he, then just last week, maybe it really is a she, but now I'm thinking it's a he again. Hahaha There's always lots to learn and really helpful people who know their stuff on here. If I've raised your curiosity, here's a pic of Oops :-) He's plumper now than in this photo :-)
