Mucky duckling

Hi, I’ve just hatched a duckling for the first time in an incubator (unfortunately the others died before they could start hatching) and while I’m leaving it in there to dry off, it’s getting very mucky.
Should I clean it before transferring to the brooder??
(Am currently looking into finding a friend to keep them company)

I mean like poopy

When you take them off, just gently clean what you can and make sure they get fluffed and dry and warm asap

I did do that in the end! It’s chirping away in our brooder box now!
