I noticed that 4 of her eggs have hatched so far.. Some of the eggs look really dark inside. Does that mean the eggs will not hatch and are not viable or is there a duck inside? One egg looks like half the shell is off, kinda like the egg has two layers one inside the other and half is peeled off? Anyone have experience with this. One of the eggs only has dark at the top of the large end.
Never mind... I took the remaining eggs out and broke them two were dead inside almost fully developed and the rest stinky. That's a pretty low hatch rate for a Muscovy. I think maybe it's due to the cold nights and warm days..
