I have had my chickens for about 9 months. I have had some bad weather lately and my dad says we need to get rid of them. I love them so much and dont know what to do. The coop is just to muddy. How do i manage rain in the coop? Some kind of dirt? Sand? Please HELP!!!

sand helps the drainage, and leaves keep the mud level down, but in bad weather you can't stop there being a little mud in the run unless you have it in the perfect spot. pea gravel, sand, or leaves all work to keep it down though. there is no reason to get rid of the birds, just because of some mud.
