Hi All!
The location I plan to place my coop is shady. Since not much grass grows there, how can I prevent mud build-up? Thanks!

Put a solid roof over the run, build everything on high ground and excavate to ensure the land slopes away in all directions then put a thick layer of dry, well drained organic matter down in the run for litter. That will give plenty of surface area for cold composting and lots of material to dig around and dust bathe in.
I also installed a gutter off the back of my coop and run to further direct run off away from my setup.
