Mule questions

Mules are really neat animals.

There is a town near me, Benson, NC that has an annual "Mule Day" celebration everyone brings there mules. It's pretty cool, even if you don't have a mule, but you like to drink beer.

My grandfather who has been gone for 12 years now, was a tobacco farmer, and when he started, he didn't have a tractor, they used mules.

My mom who is 63 now, remembers "trucking" tobacco when she was a kid. They had this mule, who when it was lunch time, would head to the house. You could not stop the mule from heading to the house, it decided that it was time for lunch.

When I was pretty young my sister had a friend w/ a mule that you could ride around it's pen, it would give you one lap, then stop where it started and not go again until someone else got on, sometimes you could fool it by getting off and back on (probably wasn't fooled, but it did go again). I'm pretty sure we didn't use any tack, he (I think it was a he) was a funny animal!
