mullet duck

Hello all, I've had chickens for some time but this is the first year I've had ducks. As their feathers grow in, I noticed that one has developed a mullet!

I'm a new member so I apparently can't post a pic but you can see the 80's flash back on my page.....

That's the cutest little crest I have ever seen!

How sweet it looks... I had one similar hatch out back in January. I was shocked to see the crest appear so low. you will have to post another when yours is a bit older.. It would be interesting to see how it grows out.

He is all grown up now- and gorgeous -Blue and White feathers...and the crest is fawn feathers. Makes for one VERY interesting looking duck.
