I feed pullets and cockerels. I always want pellets but they are hard to find here unless I drive 45 minutes, then can choose between Kalmbach and Kalmbach. :)

My local feed store said this Blue Seal was the same as all flock but in pellets so I grabbed a bag without checking. :he Just once I lazy out!

Too much calcium for the boys?

My computer isn't pulling up the picture but anything over 2% calcium is too high for roosters.
A few days won't hurt but not long term.

2.5 to 3.5. Thank you. I suppose I could do 50/50 with the all flock grower crumbles I bought for the babies, that would have it around 2%. Seem ok? Thanks for your help.

That should work till you get new feed.
Lets say it averages 3%. Most all flock is about 1% and a 50:50 mix would be 2% Ca.

The blue seal all flock is pretty low at .8-1.3 so that should at least be safe it seems. They have a nice grow and show pellet that's ok for chickens ducks and geese so maybe I'll see if they can order that. TSC here only has Purina All flock crumble and only occasionally.

Blue Seal home fresh (Finish) is a 18% Protein pellet with 1% Calcium and Probiotics. GC

Also for Show birds. Not just meaties. I like the ingredients and analysis. GC
Thank you, I'll see if they'll get that one for me. Wondering if it would be adequate for chicks and ducklings ground up. I sure would love to only buy one thing, too many containers in the barn!

I don't see why not. Extra work for you though. I like their Starter 20%, but it only comes in medicated. I would feed for 10 weeks then switch to Finish. GC
