I have one Rouen hen, and a Pekin drake. Our hen started laying eggs maybe a month ago. I have found eggs in 3 different locations now. They are free range, so they can control the slug population. I've been taking the eggs because I do not desire more ducks. So is she moving to a different place because she knows her eggs are missing? I live in the PNW, so some of our yard is kind of woodsy, and there is also black berry bushes too. I would hope she wouldn't go and make a nest in berries, seems kind of picky! Has anyone else had this happen??? I'd really hate to have eggs randomly scattered everywhere......this must be why they call it "Easter egg hunt".
